Automated Wire Feeding
Manual guidewire feeding is a labor-intensive step in catheter manufacturing that can limit throughput, increase operator dependency, and introduce process variability. MMT’s Automated Wire Feeding System automates this critical process, improving speed, consistency, and control.
Designed for single-lumen, multi-lumen, coiled, and embedded-lumen shafts, the system accommodates catheters up to 8 feet long and lumen diameters as small as 0.004 inches. It supports spool or pre-cut wire feeding, automated liner insertion, and integration into existing production lines—helping manufacturers increase throughput, improve consistency, and scale production more efficiently.
