Bioresorbable tubing are extrusions that are biodegradable, or naturally broken down over time.
Bioresorbable devices can be implanted in the body for controlled amounts of time. They do not need to be removed manually as the material will dissolve naturally.
Biodegradable devices can be used to control the delivery times and rate of drugs being introduced into the body.
Bioresorbable extrusions can be made in single lumen and multi lumen configurations. Biodegradable tubing can be custom designed to control drug capacities, leech rates, and degradation times.
