Individual load cell systems on each axis enable real-time force monitoring and control, ensuring consistent, high-quality balloon formation.
MPT BFMS-500-S2
The MPT BFMS-500-S2 Split Mold Balloon Former delivers precise, high-speed balloon catheter forming through full servo control on the proximal and distal axes and integrated load cell force monitoring for consistent, controlled parison stretching. Standard Rapid Heat Cool Mold Technology increases forming speed by up to 30%, and a quick-exchange heat/cool block design simplifies changeovers between balloon sizes and shapes.

The Interface BFM-3310 Balloon Former is a computer-controlled benchtop balloon-forming machine that delivers accurate, repeatable production of high-strength polymer balloons in a wide range of sizes and shapes. Precision-extruded balloon tubing is formed inside a beryllium-copper mold, providing the tight tolerances and consistent quality required for demanding medical balloon catheter applications.
