The High Voltage Spark Tester (HVT) is testing equipment designed for fast, accurate detection of defects in metal-reinforced catheter shafts and coated guidewires. This high voltage tester supports a wide product testing range, with optional automatic feeding and sorting to streamline inspection.
Using advanced HVT testing, the system identifies exposed wires caused by damaged or thin insulation on braided catheters and guidewires, even at a microscopic level. It also detects and reports the precise location of defects, reducing reliance on difficult, error-prone manual visual inspection.
